These terms are the agreement between you and Kinema when you use our image and video generator. By creating an account you accept them.
01Your account
You need to be 16 or older. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account. One seat is for one person.
02Plans and credits
Kinema is sold as a monthly or yearly plan with a number of credits. One picture or one video shot costs the credits shown before you generate. Unused credits roll over for one month and then expire. Plans renew until you cancel; you can cancel any time and keep your credits to the end of the period. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law says otherwise.
03Who owns what
You own your prompts and uploads. On every paid plan you get a full commercial licence to the pictures and video you generate: use them in ads, products, print and film. On the free plan the output carries a small watermark and is for personal, non-commercial use. Kinema keeps all rights in the service, the models and the brand.
04Acceptable use
Do not use Kinema to make or share:
- anything illegal, or content that sexualises minors
- sexual or intimate images of a real person without their consent
- content meant to harass, defraud or deceive people about real events
- pictures that copy a protected work or trademark you have no right to use
Do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

We work hard to keep Kinema running, but it is provided as it is. Generated content can be imperfect or resemble existing work by chance; check it before you publish.
06Liability
To the extent the law allows, Kinema is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
07Changes and law
We may update these terms; if a change is material we tell you by email 30 days before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes go to the courts of San Francisco County.
