Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Kinema uses a short list of them, and none for advertising.

01Essential cookies

These keep the service working and cannot be switched off:

• Session: keeps you signed in as you move between pages.
• Security: protects forms and your account from abuse.
• Preferences: remembers choices such as your last used model and ratio.

02Analytics cookies

With your permission we use privacy-friendly analytics to see which pages are used and where the site is slow. The data is aggregated; we cannot identify you from it and we do not share it with advertisers.

03What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or social media pixels.

04How to switch them off

You can accept or decline analytics in the cookie notice the first time you visit, and change your mind any time from the link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block essential cookies you will not be able to sign in.

05How long they last

Session cookies end when you close the browser. Preference cookies last up to twelve months. Analytics cookies last up to thirteen months.
